Reviewing an outreach draft
- Open the item. The header shows who it is for, who drafted it, and when — for example “drafted by Outreach · 2:14 PM today”.
- Read it your way. A drafted e-mail has three tabs: a rendered preview that looks like what the recipient will see, the plain text, and a translation into your own language when the draft was written in someone else’s.
- Check the lead quality badge, when one is shown, for a quick read on how good a fit this person is and why — the breakdown behind it is one tap away.
- If your team’s reviewer already looked at it, you will see a note only when the check has not finished yet — read it carefully yourself. If the reviewer asked for changes, you will not see that draft here at all: it has gone back to the office to be revised, and it returns to your queue once it passes review.
- Decide:
- Approve draft — the message is queued to send.
- Edit draft — change the wording before you approve it.
- Reject — the draft goes no further.
- After you approve, an e-mail is queued to send right away. If your operator has sending switched off for any reason, the item says “Queued, not sent yet” instead of pretending it went out — you would send it again once sending is back on.
- A document (a quote, a contract, a price study) works the same way, with one difference: approving it does not send it. It freezes the document and files it in Documents — sending an e-mail with it attached is a separate, later step.
