What each department does
Finds and tracks potential customers through your pipeline — new, contacted, replied, qualified, won or lost — and drafts outreach to send. A mailbox makes sending possible; without one, Sales still finds leads and drafts, it just cannot send until you connect one. Every outbound message waits for your approval before it goes out.
Marketing
Section titled “Marketing”Plans and schedules your marketing and drafts campaign material. Until a mailbox is connected its own card says so — “Briefs and campaign drafts wait in Review until email is connected.” Paid advertising (Google Ads and Meta Ads) belongs to this department but is coming soon: the connectors screen says “This capability won’t run until one of these is connected — the rest of the department works today”, so the rest of Marketing is unaffected by the wait.
Social
Section titled “Social”Plans posts for your social channels. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn are each marked Coming soon on the connectors screen — there is nothing to connect yet. Do not expect drafts in the meantime: next to each of them the screen says “Workers won’t run until one of these is connected.” Connecting any one of those accounts is what will start this department working.
Knowledge (always on)
Section titled “Knowledge (always on)”Your company memory. Everything you share with your office — your website, documents, price lists — is kept here and feeds every other department.
Research (always on)
Section titled “Research (always on)”Finds and gathers new source material from the web on your behalf, feeding both Knowledge and Sales with fresh information.
Finance (always on)
Section titled “Finance (always on)”Tracks spend across every department and recommends a sensible weekly pace, so you can see where your credits are going without doing the arithmetic yourself.
Creative Studio
Section titled “Creative Studio”Your screen lists this one as Creative and describes it as “Creates images & video for your posts.” It makes the pictures and short videos your OWN brand’s posts need — not content collected from your customers — and checks every one against your brief before it reaches you. It is not something you switch on yourself. It appears alongside Social and goes away with it, and each render is billed in credits when it runs.
