Documents
Documents is one page with two parts:
- Your templates — a preview of the quote and contract layout your office will use, with a button to print a blank copy. Until you have your own design approved, your documents use the platform’s standard layout — still carrying your own logo, letterhead and brand colour, never unbranded.
- Your document list — every quote, contract and price study you have approved, with its status (Approved, Sent, Expired) and buttons to Download or Print.
Nothing appears here until you have approved it in Approvals — approving a document freezes it exactly as you saw it, so what you download or send is always the page you reviewed.
You can open Documents and approve a waiting quote or contract from your phone just as easily as from a computer — the approval step does not require a desk.
The three kinds of document
Section titled “The three kinds of document”- Quotes — a priced offer you can send to a customer.
- Contracts — an agreement, optionally built from an approved quote.
- Price research — an internal estimate of what competitors charge, never sent to a customer.
One language per document
Section titled “One language per document”A document is written in one language throughout — its layout, its body and its filename. For a document you send to someone (a quote or a contract), that is usually your customer’s language; for an internal document like price research, it is your own. If you need the same document in another language, ask your CEO to prepare it again in that language rather than expecting a mid-document switch.
