Finding leads and outreach targets
- Ask your CEO to start finding people. Say what you are looking for in plain words — “find me plumbers in Rotterdam” or “find people who blog about home coffee gear” — either in chat or from the empty board’s own “Ask your CEO to start finding people” button.
- Your office runs the search and reports back. A strip above the list tells you what is happening: “…is working on this now — results land here” while it runs, and a plain sentence once it is done. If a run did not finish, that strip says so — it is never left silent.
- Read what came back.
- On the Pipeline board, a new lead appears as a card in the New column, with the company, when it was added, and a message count once you start talking with them.
- On the Outreach targets list, a row shows who was found, where (“Author” or “Creator”), a size badge (“Micro” for a small following, “Unknown size” when that could not be determined), and whether an email or a contact page was found for them.
- Ask for a draft. On a target row, “Draft message” seeds your CEO with the person’s name and asks it to prepare an outreach message and show it to you before anything sends — see Drafts and sending for what happens next.
- Block someone, if you need to. “Block” removes a person from future outreach. This cannot be undone from this page, so you are asked to confirm first.
- Filter the list by status, type or size when it grows long, and search the Pipeline board by company or email.
Your office never fabricates a person or a company — every row on either board is something it actually found. If it found no one yet, the page says so plainly rather than showing you something that is not real.
