- Open the map. From the Pipeline board, follow “Lead map” to see every lead with a known
location plotted at once.
- Switch between Map and List. The toggle at the top swaps views without losing your
filters; on a device that cannot show the map well, the page opens in List automatically and
tells you why, with one button to try the map anyway.
- Filter what you see by country, region, stage, or (when you use them) strategy — each
filter narrows both the map and the list together.
- Read the legend. A solid marker means an exact location; a fainter one means an
approximate location — a province or country centre, never invented, and never more precise
than what your office actually knows. A caption on each approximate lead spells out which:
province centre, country centre, or precision unknown.
- Open a lead from a pin. Clicking a marker’s popup takes you straight to that lead’s page in
the Pipeline.
- A candidate can be found with no usable location. Those never appear as a placed pin; a
separate count tells you how many were skipped this way, with details on request.
- If the map itself cannot load, the page says so with a plain message and a retry — never a
blank, silent canvas — and falls back to the list view so you can keep working.
