Billing

One monthly package price, and usage credits for the work your office actually does.

At the time this page was written the package price is $149 a month, and it includes 25,000 usage credits every month and every department — there is nothing to buy department by department. Those two figures are the ones your own Departments & billing screen prints at the top, and that screen is the authority: a price can change, and the number on your screen is the number you are charged.

Your office is billed in two parts, both visible on the Departments & billing screen:

  1. One monthly package price. The line at the top of the screen states all three facts: the price, the credits included each month, and “every department included”.
  2. Usage credits, spent as your departments actually do work — a discovery run, a drafted document, a voice call, a conversation with your CEO. The monthly allowance above covers this; credit packs are how you top it up when it runs out. Your current balance, this month’s spend, and your recent activity are all on the same screen.

There is no separate charge per person, per mailbox or per department, and nothing is billed for work you never asked for.

A credit is not a fixed price per action. What a job costs is worked out from how much work it actually took, so the same request can cost more on a busy day than on a quiet one. For what ordinary pieces of work come to in practice, and for a worked example of a whole month, see Credits.

  • Credits — what things cost, what happens when your balance runs low or reaches zero, and how to top up automatically.
